Since I was young I just knew I wanted to be a chef so straight after my last year of school I enrolled to study cookery at Wintec. After the 1st year I found myself working for the masters of Mediterranean buffet & weddings Vilagrad Wines in Hamilton. At the time I didn't realise that catering weddings would somehow become among other things, a passion of mine.
Moving on from Vilagrads after nearly 4 years of hard work and at the ripe age of 21, I decided to go all in chef mode. Over next few years I opened and sold a bistro style restaurant, took over and ran a successful little vegetarian cafe, worked for a number of cafe's and restaurants around Hamilton & Auckland, self published a cookbook about cooking with positive energy, and finally while traveling overseas I worked in and ran some really cool kitchens.
Oh and somewhere in there is where I meet my better half Linda.
We came back from traveling the world and I just new that It was time to put everything I had learnt over the years into a new venture.
With the help of my grandfather over the next 18months we refurbished the old 1960's caravan bit by bit and after setting up the website it was all go.
