Hey! We’re Cam & Linda, the team behind Roam.

Big fans of ocean dips, strong coffee & cold beers, we created Roam in 2018 as a way to do what we do best while travelling the country.

A side hustle quickly evolved to a full-time business, because we knew 3 things to be true —

We set out to be more than a wedding caterer with a food truck. 

We’re here to give you an experience that will stay with you (and your guests) long after the party’s over. One that combines top quality food — made by an experienced chef — with a relaxed, bespoke vibe.

It’s fancy, without being too fancy.

We’re all about the good things in life — times, food, people 

Roam is a reflection of us. We’re big on fun, freedom, connection, balance, and giving people an authentic foodie experience. 


Our specialty? Anything your heart (or stomach) desires

We cook crowd favourites. Some dishes are inspired by our travels, some are inspired by old family recipes. We’re not bound by one type of cuisine — which means you can have anything.

Get to know your hosts

Cam’s our Head Chef —

  • 20+ years experienced chef who’s not only spent years on the tools (running kitchens, making yum stuff) but also in consulting & hospitality development roles 

  • Previous owner of a vegetarian cafe & much-loved local restaurant 

  • Picks up hobbies annoyingly well — he refurbished the caravan, built our tiny home, keeps our houseplants alive… you name it, he’ll nail it

  • Creates gourmet food on the daily but is 100% basic when it come to his faves — would happily eat cheese on toast for dinner every night and can’t go past a plain vanilla ice cream

Linda’s your Go-To Gal / Wannabe Sous-Chef / Quality Control —

  • Is the most relaxed perfectionist you’ll ever see — don’t be fooled by her bubbly exterior, she runs a tight ship

  • Has a background in travel & hospitality, having worked in restaurants in different parts of the world and as a travel agent

  • Openly admits her undying love of condiments — Linda’s our sauce monitorer (you’ll never complain about your food being dry) and is obsessed with big, bold flavours

  • Has visited more than 45 countries but will always consider the food options before choosing a holiday destination
